We stayed for a couple of nights primarily owing to its location and where we needed to be throughout most of the weekend.
On this occasion I needed to drive and park the car up for the weekend. The hotel sits above the shopping centre and Car park B (postcode E20 1EJ), which is closest, has 24hr parking. This is £9 per day which for London is good value. Nice and easy access from the car park to the hotel also.
We weren't really expecting much as we were just using it as a crash pad for the weekend. However the rooms are actually fully equipped mini-apartments, which are clean, spacious and have everything you might need for a short stay, including your own kitchenette. There's also a decent bathroom with good sized shower.
Our last stay in London was a poor one, despite selecting a supposed 5 star hotel and despite having membership of that particular chain of hotels. We are also members of the IHG group, which the Stalybridge Suites is part of and this was a much better experience all round.
Staff in particular were more attentive, friendly and helpful and our stay was far more enjoyable and comfortable.
I was a little concerned that we might be disturbed by being just above the shopping centre but the insulation must be excellent because we didn't hear anything, despite there being some overnight maintenance being carried out below.
It is also very well placed for access with several tube lines, TfL rail and bus station all situated within a few minutes walk.
This is definitely one of the better experiences we've had of stays in London and there's no doubt we will be staying here again.

The location is in the Westfield shopping centre with all that it has to offer, however if you are looking for a hotel to enjoy London and theatre land then perhaps it is too far out. It is only 5-6 minutes from the tube but a further 25 minutes into the centre. The hotel is new but the room was somewhat smaller than I would have hoped. It is a normal sized room with a small kitchen in the hallway. Nice bathroom and shower. If you want your room serviced at the weekend though, then you have to request it. The staff are friendly and helpful, but there are few of them. Self service at breakfast and there are no staff about if one of the coffee machines isn't working. Food is basic. The hotel is designed to be run with very few staff.

Everything first class, staff were so welcoming. Rooms are beautiful, with everything you could possibly need, (especially the proper hairdryer, not one attached to wall !!) Railway and tube stations a couple of minutes walk, so handy for everywhere. Will definitely return anytime we are in London

Room Tip: Even number room for views of the Olympic park

Brand new hotel, clean and modern, with a great breakfast, gym and laundry room. The Staybridge Hotel is about 20 minutes from all the great monuments and sights of the City. Across the way from the Hotel is a fantastic Mall, with hundreds of shops and a good many restaurants. A short walk from the Hotel, you can find the Underground, the train and several buses going into the City.
I would stay at the Staybridge anytime.
Also, in the Mall, you can find 2 supermarkets where you can find all that you need to cook your favorite dishes.
