Myself and two friends stayed here for 2 nights. They are in the process of redecorating the hotel which is great as it is needed. we arrived early and were unable to check in until 2 pm they took our bags and we went out. when we returned the man was not that helpful he told us our room was upstairs and could get to it through the right. we were not sure where our room was so after going to the wrong floor first we found the right floor, but could not see our room all we could see was an emergency exit so after looking up and down the hallway we tried the exit and our room was at the other side it would of been helpful to tell us we had to go through the exit. Our room was quite small for three people to be sharing, we saw an empty room across from us that was much bigger and the hotel didn't seem that busy. The room was clean and the cleaning lady was very friendly.

getting to the room was difficult in the 1st place as its 3rd floor no lift and no real banister from 2nd to 3rd floor. bathroom was tiny. shelf on the "wardrobe" covered in dust and broken. completely covered in bites after a night in that room.

Positives - Room was clean
Negatives - Noisy. The room gave no protection from outside noise. Room and bathroom VERY cramped. You had to be creative to sit on the loo as the wash basin overhung the toilet pan. 60 steps to our room - NO lift. Poor fire escapes.
We booked for two nights but only stayed for one. Worst nights sleep ever. Fawlty Towers would be a better place to stay.

I am a frequent customer of this hotel. It is recently renovated, its location is great, and the staff (Raphael, Mak, Ricardo, Helena, Marina, and others) is very friendly and polite. I do recommend it for a short visit .

I stayed at this hotel in April 2017 with a group of students. We payed a £5000 deposit before arrival. The rooms were in a really bad condition. 2 of the bed bottoms broke as we sat down in them, and something on one of the showers fell off as one of the students were going to lift the shower head off. Before check out we were told to pay around £1000 because of these minor things. Now, 6 months later we haven't received any of the £5000 deposit...(!) The manager "Mahmood" keeps telling me excuses why he can't pay. "The bank won't accept your account" and so on. I advice everyone who are considering this hotel not to do it!
