Very hopeful staff, nice place, excellent location. It't worth to stay there again.

You could feel almost at home at this hospitable B&B hotel. Really great value for money almost in the centre of London! Me and my sister in law stayed there 5 nights end February and both were very satisfied. After all hassle in the city, it was wonderful to come to the quiet, warm enough (sometimes even too warm, so had to open the window) and decent hotel in the evenings. There is nothing luxurious or elegant, but that we did not expected. The hotel is situated in a very quiet street, no traffic, no people. The service from the staff what we got was also excellent. E.g. my friend hurt her knee when falling down on the street, the staff arranged everything for her: the doctor, taxis, they brought even ice into the room for her knee. The breakfast in the small breakfast room was also very good; there where everything what we wanted: coffee, tea, 4 different juices incl. tomato juice, boiled eggs, bread, toast, cheese, 2 different fruit salad, muesli. The room was cleaned every day, and there were always clean towels. Bayswater is very nice and sophisticated area with lot of beautiful hous
es and hotels. You could also find lot of restaurants, pubs, shops, supermarkets (e.g. Tesco express opposite of B. tube station, open until midnight) etc. just a few minutes walk from the hotel. Whiteleys shopping centre and Boots are also within 5 minutes walk from the hotel. Notting Hill is also quite near, you can walk there easily. We found out that Bayswater is the best and nearest tube station, so we recommend to use this station. Bayswater and the hotel area are also very secure. Couple of times I walked alone from the tube station to the hotel quite late in the evening and I was not scared at all. Also I visited alone some pubs (my friend could not come because of her knee) in the neighborhood and no problem :) All the people everywhere in London are very friendly and helpful. I really would recommend this hotel for everyone who likes to stay at small and comfortable hotels with reasonable price in London. Just for your info I used London underground first time in my life and it was super easy. All the directions are so well marked, it is impossible to get lost. We had Oyester cards (=pay as you go), which I recommend to use. Additionally I recommend to see great musicals what London can offer. We saw 3 musicals and all were just great!

A clean and friendly hotel, situated in a nice neighborhood and at an affordable price. The staff was helpful and always smiling, reception was open 24h. I believe the hotel was renovated recently, and the rooms and bathrooms all look good. Breakfast was OK, small selection but good quality. We left very early after our last night, before breakfast-time, and the staff was friendly enough to let us in and have some cereal and tea - the kind of extra service that makes you feel welcome. 5-10 minute walk to any of the four tube stations around the hotel, or to Hyde Park/Kensington Gardens. The hotel created a nice frame around a great London experience, and we would certainly recommend it for those who travel on a budget and are looking for a nice place to stay in central London.

Room Tip: There's no lift/elevator, so choose a room in ground or first floor if stairs can be a problem. If not, it's just good exercise. :) We had a room with a shower but no toilet, there was a toilet right outside our room which was shared with other guests - it was very clean and tidy and no problem at all.

Very close to the Hide Park, this very friendly and familiar hotel is a really value for money.
As there is no lift, ask a room in the ground or first floor if you has any mobility constrain.
