The hotel had new rooms and sleek bathrooms, which is a huge step up by London standards. The room was an average size, but because of how the building is situated, almost none of the rooms get natural light. They have a roof bar, which would be nice except for the fact that it was mostly reserved for private parties AND it was literally outside my door which was incredibly loud until about midnight. I am a workout junkie, so Hyde Park was fairly close by for running, however the gym was very, very small.

Stayed here for 2 nights in early May while I was in London for business. The Hotel is in a great location whether your stay is for business or pleasure with everything a short walk or tube ride away. The rooms are a great size for central london and the price is very reasonable, especially when you get an upgrade :)!! The breakfast was reasonably priced and the staff are willing to go the extra mile for fussy eaters like myself. I did not dine in the Silk restaurant but the room itself is amazing being the old courtroom and was busy each night. My favourite thing about this Hotel though was the roof bar on the 5th floor which allowed me and my colleagues to have a drink in the sun each evening and then only a short walk down the corridor home :)!! All in all a great stay.

I stayed at the Courthouse Hilton Doubletree back in July 2010 but didn't bother leaving a review. After browsing Trip Advisor I was shocked to see that this hotel has had some average/poor reviews and as such wanted to put my positive (belated) review out there!

Staying for 3 nights we were upgraded on arrival and found the warm cookies a bonus! The room was huge and clean and the service was brilliant. The swimming pool, sauna and spa were really handy.

The location of the hotel is incredible, near the theatres, Oxford Street shopping and just basically everything! Breakfasts were great - cereal, fruit, smoked salmon toasts, etc etc

Will definitely stay here again if in London looking for a nice weekend.

Room Tip: Go for the breakfast option!

my husband saw a mouse running from the interconnect door from our children room to ours if our daughters had seen it they would have ran out of the hotel and not return. we told the staff about the mouse and was told at first there were not another interconnecting available dont think they believed us anyway but ther another reviewee who also saw a mouse we were told there were no other interconnecting room available but we were moved to another room upon our return from our evening but the room were not not of good standard
after returning from our stay we email our complaint but to add insult to injury they offered us a discount plus breakfast for our next visit.!!!!!!good location if you dont mind sharing a room with a mouse

We stayed here 3 days on our recent trip to London. The hotel is located directly across from the north end of Carnaby Street and Liberty department store. Oxford Circus tube stop is located one block north of the hotel. The hotel is located right next to the London Palladium. Our king room and bathroom was very nicely decorated and spacious. The window on the 5th floor looked to the north facing an office building. The elevators were spacious. There was a nice restaurant and lounge located in the lobby. We received fresh chocolate chip cookies upon arrival and the staff was very friendly. The room did not have an iron but housekeeping was quick to fulfill our request. There was a kettle for tea and a full mini bar. The rooftop deck offered a true London view but left something to be desired. One complaint we had was no free wifi (offered 24 hours for a fee). We went to the coffee shop downstairs or across the street to Starbucks for wifi connection. Also, a conference was booked on our second day and someone decided to make the registration close to the elevator hallway. The lobby is large enough to not have it next to the elevators. Several times we had to make our way through the crowd to leave and return to our room. Better planning could prevent this inconvenience for hotel guests.
