Once upon a time there was a hotel. It was called the Queen's Hotel. It was a special hotel. Because it was named after the Queen!
And the hotel had a tiny, tiny room. With a tiny, tiny sink....that didn't work. And tiny, tiny beds. Even the ironing board was tiny, so tiny in fact that it didn't even seem to exist. It was a magic ironing board! The shower was BIG but the water pressure was...yes, you've guessed it, tiny, tiny!
And the woman on the desk was tiny too, and very grumpy!
So much so that resolved never in fact to go back to the hotel, ever ever again.
I don't know about living happily ever after BUT I will be going to the Travelodge next time.
The End

Room Tip: Book one on the ground floor, there s NO lift!

Wafer-thin walls. Very small worn and world-weary rooms. Mattress destroyed, it's like resting on a hammock in a typhoon. Helpful receptionist. Good location. I checked in for two nights a few hours ago and the signs are not great, therefore I am delivering 2 stars before 1 star becomes necessary. Ps. it's not a hotel, this is a B&B with some hostel ambience.

A few minutes walk from Finsbury Park tube/overground/rail station, this place is great. I am staying here for business reasons and the staff are lovely, the rooms clean and comfortable, the shower is great and a good selection at breakfast. Bit of noise from other guests but a brilliant combination of quality and value.

Staff is super nice, breakfast is great, clean for most part but room is only okay. No A/c, water is not really going down on shower and sink drain, bed is cheap quality, can hear noise from upstairs and hallway. The bed has springs and you can actually feel it when laying down. Wifi is regular speed (19 mbps p sec). House rule is to leave key up front at all times. Seems to be an okay neighborhood, few bums on the block
