Nearest tube - Tottenham Court Road, 8mins walk. Upstairs restaurant is spacious and comfortable. Downstairs is the jazz venue where you can also eat/drink but If you have discount vouchers or want to use any meal deal, you have to eat upstairs then go downstairs for the gig...rather pointless but that's their rules. Standard pizza/pasta fare, not a large choice of beers or wine but adequate. A handful of pubs nearby but usually standing room only at weekends. Music sets lasted about 2 hours with a 20min interval so really good value for central London.

Visited for the Janette Mason D'ranged concert with Mary Pearce and Lily Dior on vocals and was not disappointed.

Intimate venue in the basement under a regular Pizza Express restaurant means you get up close to the music. Menu is the standard Pizza Express fare but nicely cooked and staff were very attentive.

Well worth a visit if you like jazz. Use the internet to find out what is on and bear in mind there is an entry charge as well as meal cost.

Finding a fun and different night out when visiting London can be tough. Concerts and shows are expensive and usually really crowded.

LiveJazz at Pizza Express has always been our go-to choice when we visit London and want a stress free music experience of something different. The musicians vary from traditional to progressive, but are always strong and engaging. This isn't open mic night, but solid pros from across the spectrum.

The venue is small, which we like. There is no bad seat, really, when you are never more than a few feet from the stage. Yes, the food and drink is London priced, but you don't have to order anything if you don't want to.

We've been going to the Dean St location for years, and are pleased to see that the owners have branched out to venues elsewhere.

Visited this restaurant with my girlfriend on a saturday evening. The place was packed but there was a short waiting time for a table for two. If you are looking for a tasty pizza at a reasonable prize, I do recommend this one. Cozy place, nice atmosphere and very good pizzas.

The manager went the extra mile getting my son's phone out from where it fell down the side of the bench! Thanks so much. The staff are all lovely and the performance space is the best in London of this size.
