Spent an hour and three quarters being guided round the famous sights of the Wimbledon Tennis Club. Saw many of the famous places including Centre Court, Number One court (with its new roof), players areas, press building including BBC studio and the less glamourous courts. We were given a history of the ground and Championships and details of how you may or may not become a Member of the Club (if your got the money and the connections-your in). A great tour.
The only downside was the Wingfield café. Overpriced food with limited choice. I went for the salad-a choice of four different salad to make a portion. As two of the salads contained beans or lentils (both of which I am allergic to) I chose just to have a double portion of the one option. Foe this I was charged the full £8.95 for what amounted to a few sliced of cucumber, tomato and onion. The portion of strawberries was just FOUR berries. I was not the only person to query this but was told that was the portion size. Needless to say I did without. When ordering a hot drink the staff were unable to serve it at the same time as the food. We were given a number and after 15 minutes the coffee arrived. By this time we had finished the rest of the meal. Service is abysmal. Take your own packed lunch-there are benches to sit and enjoy your own food.

We had been given a voucher as a Christmas present for the 90 minute guided tour and found it absolutely fascinating.
Having been lucky enough to attend the championships on many occasions, often with great seats on Centre Court for some memorable matches, this tour provided an added dimension! Our guide, (Caroline) was excellent,- a fount of knowledge and information with some hilarious and illuminating anecdotes relating to events and players. Despite there being 28 of us on our particular tour, we didn't feel rushed or crowded and were given plenty of photo opportunities in the press rooms and other 'behind the scenes' locations. Highly recommended for any tennis fans as is the museum and shop (even purchased some Wimbledon grass seed for my lawn mad 'other half'!

On a nice day the Club is a pleasant walk from the tube and easy to find. Staff ere welcoming and efficient when we arrived although we were not told of an audio tour that was apparently on offer.

The museum was interesting looking at the history of tennis with lots of memorabilia, well displayed including the present trophies. The virtual reality show was excellent and worth the wait as the theatre is small and queues built up. Long waits at the toilet.

The restaurant was very quiet so service fast although our bill was wrong but the food fine.

The tour was exceptional with an excellent guide and lots of interesting information and taking us to the TV studios, players area and the main courts.

Very good value and well worth a visit.

As a life long tennis fan this was an unforgettable experience. The tour was amazing. To see Centre Court was a life dream.

The "temple" of tennis. Even if you are not the most passionate fans of tennis, pay a visit . Wimbledon does not resemble to London, as it is located in the outskirts of city, but has its own uniceness. A more relaxed and quiet city, with its own great park, that welcomes many families. After walking past the park, you can find the buildings and the court.
