far nicer than the other Norwich premier inn, much more quitter, good location although central not in a location to nip out for a takeaway/shop at nite, bar area was dead both my nights, but theres a great little pub a minute away that does food.a bit bust traffic wise during the evening rush hour, but no late night revellers to disturb your rest.

Room Tip: stay at the back

The only negative was the parking other car parks in town closed so was very busy in adjoining park and had to wait quite a while for someone to leave, on the other hand the ticket franked by hotel gave you a long period to park.

This hotel is in a good city centre position, and they have an arrangement with the multi storey car park next door for £4 per night which is fair for where it is. Great welcome from the usual friendly staff. Spotlessly clean and usual Premier Inn room so no complaints there. Food is normally terrible at Premier Inns so we ate at the Merchants of Spice Indian restaurant just around the corner which was unusual and very nice.

The only thing I hate about PI is their insistence on charging for wifi. The free wifi is only there to make you angry enough to pay for "Ultimate wifi" ie: normal wifi, which everyone else supplies for free. Well, they made me angry, but I'm never paying for wifi in the 21st century so sort yourself out PI and include it in the price.
