The entire experience at Sandburn Hall Hotel and the Tykes restaurant were fantastic. We had to stay two days extra due to the snow, but we had a great relaxing 5 nights. Lovely room with a view of the lake. Staff were excellent and we can only highly recommend a stay here.

Room tip: Book Tykes restaurant. Have a great stay.

Spent a great one night stay at Sandburn Hall. We were given a friendly welcome at check in before being taken to our lovely Courtyard room. The room was exceptional, beautifully furnished and decorated. All the fittings and fixtures were outstanding, a comfortable large bed and a superb bathroom. Dinner and breakfast at the Tykes restaurant was equally good, a wide selection on both menus. As at reception all the staff encountered in the hotel and the restaurant were courteous and helpful. Wouldn’t hesitate in booking again.

Saw this hotel on Secret Escapes and the hotel turned out to be great. The room was nice and large with a beautiful en-suite with a huge walk in shower. We had an evening meal in the restaurant, which had a varied menu, and a bottle of Prosecco in the room. The room was warm and had a huge window overlooking countryside a great place to relax. Loved it and we’re looking forward to going back, perhaps with better weather!!

Room tip: We had no problems with parking and there didn’t appear to be a busy time of day but it was February with very inclement weather (thick fog)

Stunning hotel. Room was lovely and very elegantly decorated with quality fixtures and fittings. EV charging in the car park which is a bonus as we are not sure if there is anything closer to charge. Stayed overnight for a craft fair also held in the hotel complex. Staff very pleasant and helpful (thank you). A little pricey but as a treat worth the money.
Would love to stay again.

Room tip: Don’t get caught out with sat nav that will take you to the woodland lodges, It’s actually another 1/4 mile along the road. Enjoy
