5 of us booked in for a day with Lost Earth Adventures to do gorge scrambling and then rock climbing. The whole day was so much fun from start to finish, we laughed so much at one point we were stuck unable to get up. The instructors were great, knowledgeable and fun :) I think one was Craig? and the other was Sam. The gorge scrambling was awesome, we were jumping in, sliding down rock slides and even getting educated en route. Cold (as expected - hence wetsuits) but so so much fun.
The rock climbing in the afternoon was with Sam who had it all under control from the off. We were kitted up, learnt different climbing knots, how to belay and then were off climbing and abseiling back down. Not all of us are that sporty but Sam made sure we all made it to the top. Even Jen! I'm not sure who was more shocked!! Her or us hehe. We will defo be going again :) thanks guys! Ebhlin

Spent a fun Saturday afternoon Gorge walking in the Peak District with lost adventures and Baz as our leader
This was for our friends 40th birthday
Really fun , energetic afternoon climbing over rocks through the gorge and over waterfalls , a real good team exercise with lots of laughs along the way
Would really recommend it and baz was awesome at his job , kept us all going and laughing and helped when needed
The only negative is we didn't take a camera and I wish we had a waterproof one with us as it would have helped remember the gorgeous views and also laugh at the photos of us !!!! Please anyone doing this take a waterproof camera as the company don't provide them
Fab afternoon , 100% recommend !!!
Thanks again Baz

Abseilling was on my bucket list and last Sunday myself, 2 daughters, 3 grandchildren and my best friend all arrived at Brimham Rocks. We were met by Stewart, who was our instructor. Most of us were very apprehensive but he guided and encouraged us through it all and we had a brilliant and very rewarding day. Our thanks to all, and we will be returning. I would recommend this to anyone with or without a sense of adventure.

Just been on an adventure with lost earth adventures.
My friend's bucket list was to abseil. We are both in our sixties. We ended up at Brimham
Rocks with both her daughters and three grandchildren.
I am afraid of heights.
Our anchorman Stewart could not have been better.
I actually managed to abseil all thanks to him.
Would recommend this as it was a real challenge and if I can do it anyone can.
Thank you Stewart.

Thank Evelyn M

Attended as an activity for a stag do and found to be well organised and our guide very knowledgeable. They supplied the the equipment and only downside was that some of the wet suits had seen better days. Ensure that if you do the gorge walking you have a good pair of sturdy boots. I had trainers on but the rocks ripped the sides of the pair. Depending on the water flow and depth in places there were chances of jumping in, bobbing under logs and a bit of a water slide. Overall very pleasant

Thank you for your review. You're absolutely right about the wetsuits. We bought a new batch of wetsuits at the beginning of August and had to return them all to the manufacturer as they started falling apart, we then had to put the older suits back into rotation. The new wetsuits are on order and should be at our centre for this weekend. I apologise as I know the wetsuits you were using had seen better days.
