This is a lovely B & B. Pam and Tony were very welcoming and nothing seemed too much trouble for them. Rooms were spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The breakfast was great, with plenty of choice. There is a large car park at the rear and you can leave your car there with no worries. It is a short walk to the centre of York and the local train station is nearby, but if you dont want to walk, there is a bus stop outside. There are plenty of pubs and restaurants within easy walking distance. Will be returning again.

I cannot fault this B&B. We took it over as a large extended family to celebrate our Dad's 80th and it was perfect. The family rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable, and ours had a bunk bed in a seperate connecting room. There were lots of games for the children to play with and DVDs, and a good outdoor area with pets. The breakfast was superb (including Masham sausages) and Pam and Tony could not have been more helpful or hospitable. The locations was great, a short walk to the city centre, with the added bonus that we could leave our car in the B&B car park on the day we left, whilst we did nore sightseeing. A hone from home for us for the weekend. Thanks Pam and Tony.

Room Tip: For a family of 4, go for the one with the bunk beds in the connecting room.

I stayed on my own, last minute just for one night. Pam was very welcoming and gave me lots of tips. An easy stroll into the centre and nice to be away from the crowds at night. Room was lovely, clean and comfortable. Shower was fantastic. I was able to leave my bag there after check out and collect before I got my train. If I visit York again I'll definitely try and book the Apple House. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

I was attending a conference and had the pleasure in staying in this quaint establishment which is close to the train station and town centre.

This is a family who run the business is sooo friendly so is like home from home and was clean and tidy. I stayed 2 nights and each night slept extremely well. the area was very quiet. There is ample parking too so was able to park up the car and go by foot for the 2 days of my stay.

Everything I needed was in the room. Also had WiFi too

A good selection for breakfast and catered for vegetarians.

Room Tip: Not sure wether there was a lift but there is a few stairs to climb so if mobility is an issue please ask for an appropriate floor.
