Book for a 30th wedding anniversary. Quite a small restaurant (rather than Inn).
Staff were very attentive and gave good advise on meals etc.
I had the scallop starter and wifey had beetroot salad. Both excellent and not over facing.
Wife had fillet steak which was a little underdone for her liking, I had the ribeye. We both had peppercorn sauce which was a little watery and disappointing. Chips were spot on.
We both had Strawberries/White chocolate for dessert.
Cost was fair for the meal at £90 ( included £5 option for kitchen staff But no drinks.
I would recommend for a special occasion
