A huge all-you-can-eat buffet restaurant with a staggering choice of cuisines. The choices included typical dishes from England (carvery), India, Thailand, Japan, South America, Italy, China and others I can't remember right now. The quality is about what you'd expect from a buffet. There is an adequate choice of generic desserts, with a chocolate fountain to keep the kids happy dipping marshmallows and jelly beans (I kid you not) and the usual selection of alcoholic drinks. The huge number of staff are friendly and attentive. For £15 a head it is very good value for money.

First night for our trip to York, just wanted something easy. It was quite good, as far as all you can eats go. I always compare them to Za Za Bazaar of Bristol which sadly this place falls well short of. The layout is very strange and the chicken satay was raw in the middle. The dessert station was the best bit but still not to the best standard i have seen in at one of these types of places.

Would have given this place a five; but we went to go 2 months ago and was told we had missed the discount by 5 mins, so we turned around and likewise on Sunday to find out it was more money !

The prawns/sushi also came out in time intervals ( looks like price/ quantity of food was in action )

Then the good sides, absolutely fantastic staff and really wanted to help.

Food was up their with the best for an "All you can eat" great qualty

A must for York.

Thank you

Visited as a family for our evening meal. Very friendly welcome and no need to book on last Thursday when we went . Staff explained the system and the range of food. Lots of different dishes, all fully labelled, fresh and hot. My husband particularly enjoyed the fish and sushi choice. Our daughters liked the range of pudding and chocolate fountain. We will be visiting again.

Booked a table for 10 plus buggy on a Sunday evening.
I emailed in advance to ask for room for the buggy and a request if they could do a cake or let us have candles in a dessert for a birthday but got no response even though I emailed 2 days before.

The staff were pleasant but drinks service when ordered at the table was very slow. We kept having to ask where the drinks where after waiting 20 minutes for one of the rounds. Plus; nobody knew what to charge for a pint of soda water and ended up charging more than £3. What a rip off. The refills aren't that!

The food though is a good and wide choice.
There was something for everyone in our group, including a picky eater. Plenty that can be cooked there and then too.

Massive choices of dessert and they were all great.

We weren't rushed at all and it didn't feel busy around the food even though there were a lot of people in.

Overall - I would go back but definitely have the refill drinks so that we didn't have to wait.
