This was our 2nd stay here. We love it. It’s very central , clean and modern. Staff are fantastic, nothing to much. And all at a great price. We’re already looking at out next visit. Breakfast was plentiful too. I could moan a loo seat was a tad loose on our last visit, but it didn’t effect our stay at all and was a minor thing that didn’t bother us in the slightest.

Visited for afternoon tea with 2 adults and 2 children. We grown-ups had a voucher and the kids had the child version at £5 each.
The hotel is very modern and elegant. We sat under the glass extension on the right-hand side, all decorated in contemporary tones with a great view of the surrounding architecture and sky overhead. Staff were very helpful and especially warm to the children - no stuffiness or anything which was great; we felt like we were having a 'posh' treat, but also felt relaxed.
The kids option is AMAZING for a fiver. The adult's selection includes sandwiches, scones, brownies, fruit meringues and we also had prosecco for a decent price, but the kids option just blew me away. They had the sarnies and cakes but it also came with yogurt and fruit compote, and a fruit salad in sweet little jars - they were so stuffed they had a nap on the tram home.
Also, my son likes to give his views on the toilet facilities whenever we visit anywhere, and he said St James' were 'Jazzy'.
All in all the visit was great fun and we had a lovely time. Even considering an overnight stay!

Stayed for night with wife. Hotel is lovely. Rooms very spacious and comfortable. Breakfast next morning was delicious. Hotel decor is very tasteful. Rooms are a little pricey as is car parking but worth it. Great location next to Nottingham castle and city centre within easy walking distance

Dear Chopper260599

Thank you for you recent feedback and we do hope to welcome you back very soon, for reference we do have our own secure carpark just 2 minutes walk from the hotel which when pre booked is just £9.00 a night rather than the £14.95 charged at the NCP.

My wife and I booked an afternoon tea for two. We were seated with speed and efficiency, and served right away. The food was excellent and plentiful (needed doggy bag) for the left overs, and the tea was strong and as much as we could drink. The staff were very friendly and polite. The overall experience was a pleasure which we hope to repeat at some future date.

Room Tip: Only used restaurant.

Stayed here for 2 nights whilst working in Nottingham.

Rooms were very pleasant as was the rest of the hotel which has a great location right in the city centre.

The room was slightly more expensive than others similar however we were very happy with the hotel and would recommend to anyone.

Car parking was available, I am unsure weather it is free for hotel guests however I did receive any tickets in 3 days parked there.

Limited tea coffee facilities in the room was the only negative.
