We have relatives who live in the village, so have now been here a few times when staying & it's always good!

The staff are always friendly & welcoming, the food is great & it always looks clean & organised.

We had a lovely Sunday lunch sat outside on the nice patio garden. The perfect way to spend a warm Sunday afternoon.

Thank Nick T

A bit of a distance from where we were staying in Stratford, drove here in shocking weather. Easy parking and host was great and found us a table very quickly which was warm and cozy. The decor food was very typically English, fish and chips, gammon and my favourite was the pork pie. Service was very friendly. Will definitely go here again when in the area.

We've just returned from a week in the Cotswolds; a beautiful part of the country and well worth a visit.
The biggest issue with the area though is that a LOT of very affluent people live there and a LOT of the local eateries cater for the very affluent people.
Michelin stars and quail eggs abound and re-mortgaging seems like the only option if you want to eat out!

Step up The Tite Inn

They say in their advertising that they have chosen not to try to compete with the local gastropubs and the like but by doing so have provided the perfect competition by catering for those of us who are NOT millionaires in an area where those choices are few and far between.

This, as I allude to in my title, is a beacon of reasonably priced sanity in a crazily priced area.

The pub itself is lovely; a proper, warm and welcoming old school sort of place.
Friendly staff and good beer greet your arrival.
The restaurant we were shown into was cosy and comfortable and was a genuinely nice place to eat.
The menu was extensive although some choices were not available due to a busy weekend (we ate there on a Tuesday evening, no booking was required but I got the impression [and the lack of some menu options confirmed] that weekends here are VERY busy and booking would be essential). Having said that the lack of availability of a couple of items actually helped me as several options had taken my fancy and this helped to trim the herd.
Our food arrived without any undue delay (some items are marked on the menu that they take slightly longer) and was well presented, plentiful and very tasty.
The Tite could easily get away with charging more for their food given the quality they provide and the area they are in but have chosen not to. This alone in my opinion means they deserve your custom. If and when we are back in the area they will most certainly get ours again. I cannot recommend this place enough!

We arrived at peak time to unfortunately find no tables free (as we were a biggish group of 4 adults and 3 children). The landlady & bar manager were very friendly and engaging and helped us consider another location nearby. So we left but as we walked through the child friendly garden we realised that as it was not too cold and we would sit outside. Once the landlord and lady realised we were outside they came and we discussed further food and drink options to suit our palette. We sat outside enjoying the evening ambiance and a relent from the children as they amused themselves in the playground. Before our food came out the landlord popped out again to say there was a big table free inside now and they had reserved it for us. So we spent the rest of an enjoyable evening tucking into some great food in a warm environment.

The car park is just past the pub and then a short inclined walk is needed through a charming garden area to reach the building. Lovely ambiance inside, friendly welcoming staff. Our pretty young waitress, Becky, was outstanding throughout - patient, funny, understanding and charming. The food and drink (I tried both draft ales and they were excellent) was very enjoyable but the highlight was the Sticky Toffee Pudding with extra sauce and ice cream. MMMMM! Service was excellent - and great value for around £28/head for three courses and drinks. Highly recommended!
