Love trying one offs and not the norm coffee shops... thought we would pop in for coffee and milkshakes
Very miserable welcome and found myself apologising for asking for drinks!!!
The lady then replied with “it will be a while” we felt they wanted to close
We sat upstairs which was quirky, to then hear “milkshakes” oh I guess we need to go and get our drinks!!
Overall - no thank you
Children said milkshakes were good
Coffee ok but the cappuccino wasn’t great
Feel so bad leaving a negative
But didn’t feel welcome at all

Thank Dawn H

We were in Oxford for the day and were looking for a coffee shop that wasn't a big chain. We found this little gem by accident, reasonable prices and lovely coffee and drinks. The cakes looked delicious but we had a lunch booked so didn't indulge. A lovely log fire was a great welcome and the service was quick and efficient. Nice to support a good local business will be giving there agin when we are in oxford.

It was a snowing and freezing day in Oxford, so we needed a hot drink. Mortons had a sign outside saying 'we have wood in the fireplace'. Just what we needed. The staff was friendly and very nice eventhough we just had coffee and hot chocolate. Both drinks were just that: Hot! And the varmth from the fireplace was so nice. We enjoyed the place very much. The prices were low on baguettes and they looked good - but we only needed drinks this particular day.

We called in here to warm up after a cold day in Oxford. The lady behind the counter was very friendly and the cafe was very warm and welcoming with a log burner making it the perfect place to warm up
On a cold day! We had a homemade
Cookie each and they were delicious. Overall good place with good food and drinks and good prices. Will visit again when in Oxford

Second visit for lunch at this excellent little Cafe . Cappuccino brilliant. Thai chicken in a seeded baguette just what was needed after a wet Saturday trawling the Oxford museums. One road back off the high street makes such a difference to the prices this city. Log fire in the grate is a welcome sight. The staff are courteous and quick. Will definitely be back.
