Had the Baja hamburger it was fantastic! The sauces are good, hamburger served simply and you have to order all the sides separately. We went for the onion rings and regretted it - they were very heavy and greasy probably frozen ahead of time. Fries looked much better. Too bad the drinks are so expensive.

A hot day at Byrons and everything is a little wilted and lack lustre.
Had to wait to be seated, even though the place was practically empty, as the server fiddled with his till. Asking if there was anywhere cool in the restaurant to sit we were put at the only laid table (funny that) and told that they would turn on the air con on. Which to be fair they did. You could tell by the new noise.
My hopped IPA was perfect, if expensive at nearly £5 for a small bottle. The kids milkshakes were good, as they always are.
It was the food that failed to impress. Cheesy Nachos had too little melted cheese, salsa and guacamole and too much sour cream and slices of pickled chillies. The buffalo wings were apparently from the pigeons that flock Oxford Bus Station over the road. Small and, even though obviously reheated, neither crispy nor sticky but anaemic and tough.
The burgers were ok but, with everything bar the basics an extra cost which we had declined, they looked sad and unimpressive, sat alone in the middle of a worn plate.
It struck me that in this Byron neither the staff nor the Kitchen gave a toss. Maybe their enthusiasm had wilted in the heat too.

Nice food, very noisy place to visit, the waitresses seemed a bit rude and judgemental at times towards a lot of people!

Visited Byron's on my own tonight and gad the classic Byron Burger. Well prepared food and good assortment of drinks. Enjoyed the good service as well. Pretty loud place and the restaurant didn't really offer any good place to sit for people eating on their own.

Didn't actually order any food we went in to get milkshakes to just take away.
Placed pur order with the hostess who was efficient.
Milkshakes come from the kitchen so can take a little bit of time. Worth the wait. Family were happy with the end results!
