Wanted a leisurely weekend touring sites of oxford. Took a chance on the remont . Couldn't have been happier , one of the nicest small hotels we have ever stayed in.
Gabrielle the manager is a wonderful German lady , nothing was too much trouble and went out of her way to make your stay as pleasant as possible. Showed us to our room, brought to our room printouts of maps to locations we wanted to visit etc
Hotel is almost boutique style , recently refurbed, very clean and lovely breakfast . Car parking at hotel and bus stop close by with frequent buses into city centre and it's fantastic sightseeing.
Definitely will revisit.

Excellent small hotel in Oxford. Oxford is not a car friendly place, but the Remont has parking on site and is a short walk from a well frequented bus stop (about a 15 minute bus ride to city center). Hotel is very contemporary in style - bright and open. We had room 22 which was ideal for 3 adults. Shower a bit of a challenge if you are over 6 foot, but otherwise very nice.

The hotel is located a couple of miles outside the centre of oxford, but is well linked by frequent busses that stop close to the hotel and continue to operate into the night (tip: a day rider ticket is valid for 24 hours and costs about the same as two singles) The hotel is good value for money and offers free parking. With the good bus links we found it to be absolutely no issue to be a bit out of town. We stayed in a standard room, which wasn't huge, but big enough for us both and two cases. The breakfast buffet was good with a reasonable choice in a nice sunlit room. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Only minor criticisms are that the bed in our room, despite being comfortable, was quite small. There was also a bit of noise from the road and other rooms (although nothing that really disturbed us) It's clear that the owners take pride in the hotel and making the guests happy. Recommended.

Stayed for 1 night for a Xmas evening in Oxford city centre. Plenty of parking at the front and back of the building. Lovely and comfortable room. Loads of hot water and nice and snug on a cold winter evening. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great. Will visit again.
