We stayed one night on Sunday special rate which included dinner, bed and breakfast. The food was exceptionally good and the pub had a great atmosphere. The staff were very friendly and polite. Our room was at the front of the pub and was decorated to a really high standard. Bed was very comfy. Only one very small negative was the road noise but thankfully we had earplugs to block out the early morning traffic. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

We stayed August bank holiday weekend just gone with our parents and a number of close family and friends for our Wedding weekend in the local area. I can honestly say that the service we received was second-to-none for the whole of our stay. Nothing was too much trouble for Diane and the team and we felt spoilt throughout our whole stay. Everyone at the Kings Arms went above and beyond any necessary duties and made us feel truly welcome. The rooms are fantastic and the food was amazing (breakfast especially!). Thank you to you all - we'll be back!

Room Tip: Room 8 at the back

I stayed over night once again mid week for a lovely relaxed meal and sleep. The restaurant was really busy with a lovely relaxed atmosphere. The food was really good and very tasteful. I had Scallops to start and Pork Belly, would really recommend.
I slept like a log in the lovely and exceptionally clean rooms.

Room Tip: I would really recommend this hotel there are so many landmarks close to the hotel and only 20mins away from Oxford.

We stayed here on our wedding night back in may after it being recommended.
When we phoned to make the booking the guy on the phone was very helpful, he held 2 rooms for us to view as we had mentioned it was our wedding night we obviously wanted the best. After being shown around we decided on which room we would like.
So few months went by and soon crept up our wedding. I thought i had better phoned to see what time reception was manned until as being our wedding night we wouldn't be there until gone midnight, unfortunately this is where it went down hill :(
The Lady on the phone said well we close when the bar closes, i asked her how she suggested we got the key from and her response was.... well before 10ish. I again reiterated that it was our wedding night and that wouldn't be possible. so in the end i spoke with the manager who said we could collect the day before so that's what we did as they had a spare key.
When we arrived about 1am the place was in darkness, we finally found our room and to our disappointment there was no sort of congratulations in the room or during our stay. Breakfast was tasty we mentioned that it was our wedding night last night and just got ok so can i get you any tea or coffee? On Check out i had my dress in my arms and again being happy new weds it came up in conversation and the person checking us out also said oh YOUR wedding?
So overall, nice place to stay and lovely food but sometimes going 'the extra mile' and listening to the guests may have resulted in more star rating :(

Stayed for two nights and was very happy with standard of hotel. Food in restaurant was excellent and plenty of choice on menu. Ideal place to stay for a walk into Blenheim palace and not too far if you fancy trip into Oxford. Parked on street outside and hotel informed us as long as parked correctly in space no need to worry about getting ticket. Will return.
