Description: The London Street Brasserie is the second award winning restaurant by owner & proprietor Paul Clerehugh. Opened in 2000, next to the river Kennet in the heart of Reading, the London Street Brasserie has won both critical acclaim & Michelin recognition & has also been voted restaurant of the year. Lovingly called the LSB by regulars & locals, the restaurant has become a firm favourite in the area & a must visit for foodies. Serving local produce to the highest standards this restaurant is definitely worth a visit.

I have eaten here before and the restaurant is showing it's age. The place could do with a good luck of paint and new chairs. The table I was sat at had food up the wall. Well that's the bad part.
The service was excellent by a young man, nothing was too much and he worked hard. The food was great too it's just a shame the place is looking a little run down in places.

We recently visited early evening, and already there was a little buzz in the air, with people partying or just enjoying their meal. We were greeted with smiles and warmth. Nothing was too much trouble, food was very impressive ( the best pork chop I've had in years) lovely wine, just everything was superb, too full for desserts which was a shame because they looked great, but we intend to return and leave room for them next time. Overall, very impressed and a well deserved reputation.

This is a very nice restaurant, good service and good food, the menu was very good, and the wine list excellent, with some good value offerings. Staff are very friendly and helpful. The only downside is the high ambient noise, not that the tables were noisy, but the design / layout means the sound seems to hang around, and it can be a struggle to have a conversation at times. But a worthy place to eat.

Visited Saturday evening with friends who had not been before. They were impressed. The menu had a good, diverse selection of dishes which meant choosing took some time. All dishes were excellent. The Malbec was a very good choice. Staff pleasant, attentive and helpful. Customer loos were clean.
Happy to return.
