Ate here with friends. Friendly staff, nice atmosphere and we sat at a comfortable table on the upper level.
The menu is very varied, great choice and thankfully no festive menu! Good choice of both starters and mains, well presented.
The food was tasty and the portions were ample.
A good stop for lunch, would go again quite happily.

I had a lovely lunch at this venue. The prawns starter was very tasty although I thought some bread should have been included with the prawns. My liver and bacon was cooked to perfection and the cheesecake was lovely. Washed down with a few glasses of wine and a coffee. Service was also good with plenty of staff working together as a team.

Nice food, lively bustling atmosphere, although acoustics not great downstairs, difficult to hear your tables conversation. Staff very helpful. But after all the publicity over peanuts/mints/snacks in open dishes and the bacteria population they contain, I’m surprised to see. Salt and pepper in loose trays for people to finger.

I have eaten here before and the restaurant is showing it's age. The place could do with a good luck of paint and new chairs. The table I was sat at had food up the wall. Well that's the bad part.
The service was excellent by a young man, nothing was too much and he worked hard. The food was great too it's just a shame the place is looking a little run down in places.
