Pleasantly surprised with the hotel. It's in a convenient location 30 seconds from junction 34 M1 right next door to Meadowhall shopping centre.
Large well appointed rooms, big comfy bed. TV only had a few channels but not an issue for us.
I had all you can eat breakfast buffet, not a large range but quality was good.
Reception staff friendly and helpful.
Would definitely stay again if visiting Rotherham / Sheffield as its on the border of both.

Booked over the phone for a 2night stay and had quite low expectations. Pleasantly surprised by the range of facilities, the size of the room, the provision of a fan and the cleanliness of the hotel. The staff were efficient and friendly. Travelodge at Meadowhall will be seeing us again.
One gripe: no seating outside for those of us who smoke and the kerb seems to get lower the older I get.

Fantastic welcome from very helpful and friendly staff, we checked in quite late as we were stuck in traffic on the way to Sheffield but soon felt refreshed knowing the bar was open until 4am! The room was huge, comfy double bed with crisp white sheets, bathroom had a sit in shower and was very clean.
The hotel is near a busy motorway and you can hear traffic if you leave the window open but that's life, i chose the hotel for its location so it didn't bother me one bit.
We stayed here for my daughters graduation, very convenient for our needs!

We use this hotel quite often it's a really convenient location for Rotherham, Sheffield and the M1. The staff are welcoming and friendly and the hotel has good facilities. The only downside is that the aircon doesn't work and it's too noisy to open windows at night.

Room Tip: Ask for one overlooking the car park
