DONT DO IT
Do not go. I booked for a hen do, £248pp, on the morning of they contacted me to let me know one of the bedrooms with 3 beds and an en-suite was out of use. They moved one bed into another small bedroom making it very cramped, one person then had to use a top bunk bed which we managed to avoid and another person was put on a camper bed. We had 1 less bathroom which wasn’t ideal with 19 girls and they offered £50… one person didn’t have a proper bed so I argued they should offer 1 persons amount of money back but they stopped messaging me to avoid explaining. Awful customer service. The kitchen is VERY small. Apparently sleeps 20/21 people but the kitchen could sit all 19 of us. Downstairs room, as nice as it is, is also very small and some had to sit on the floor. I’d keep looking elsewhere if I was you.

DO NOT BOOK WITH BATH LUXURY RENTALS.
We booked with Bath Luxury Rentals. DO NOT USE under any circumstances. This company should not be trading. They are crooks and will lie and decieve to ensure they keep your deposit money. Completely awful experience. The downstairs bedroom at Mr Darcys was not fit for purpose and was disgustingly mouldy with a foul smell. Absolutely no apology from Bath Luxury Rentals at all and nobody answered their apparent emergency line. The company had the cheek to then take deposit money from us. They are crooks. Absolutely disgusting staff who have no customer service skills whatsoever. You have been warned. DO NOT USE

Adequate accommodation, not the best "after sales" service
I stayed with Bath Luxury Rentals in August, and ahead of our visit the team were very attentive and accommodating with questions or requests. When we arrived, the property was clean and easy to find. It is a little further out from the city centre than we had liked - getting a taxi was really difficult for the size of our group and with no parking nearby, we actually ended up using the bus to reach the town as it was fastest. The rooms are large and comfortable. The luxury body wash etc in the bathrooms is also a nice touch. The kitchen was a bit tight, but worked for the amount of time we spent in there. The basement lounge is a fun room, although did smell a bit damp (along with the bedroom on that level) but I dont think this can be avoided. The property uses a key-code access, we locked outselves out and did not have proper instructions to reset the key pad which meant it took us over an hour to get back into the property. We did call the emergency out of hours mobile, but nobody came back to us until we had already figured it out through trial and error. We did eventually get instructions, but these would be helpful to have in the welcome pack as I am sure we are not the first or last to have that issue. I found the team after this point to be quite unresponsive/cold, no apology was made and a justification (they are a small business) was given as to why their emergency line is not always mannned. Thank god there wasn't a flood! I reached out about this after my stay via my booking website and was ignored. All in all, accommodation is fine for a large group but pre-plan your transport, ask for the keypad reset instructions when you check in, and hope you don't need to call in an emergency!

Wow
How this place is still open i will never know. Me and my hens had to leave and go to a travel lodge due to drug dealers and general safety!

Good location
Stayed here for 3 nights with family. This is quirky house set on four storeys. It was clean and fresh. Some rooms had en suites and all the rooms were very large and spacious. The sitting room is in basement so you get slight dampy smell and the kitchen in on third floor which is awkward to keep climbing, if you are not in good shape. Also the kitchen has this two large tables with bench’s around it. It’s very awkward to work in kitchen . Some of rooms with bathroom are also awkward as there is not much space. It’s perfect place to stay if are a large party. There’s no parking on the same road ,so you will have drive around side roads and see If you get lucky . It’s about 15-20 min walk to town , so not bad. The owners did leave bottle of gin and tonic tins, which was nice.

Amazing, friendly and home from home.
We loved Mr Darcys! It’s an excellent location for visiting Bath. I’ve visited lots of times, always really warmly welcoming and sparkly clean. Lots of cute period features! And contemporary comfort in rainwater showers and fab big beds too! Love this beautiful Bath home from home! If your looking for a historic building in bath this is the most perfect place. Nothing is to much trouble for the team and they go out of their way to make you feel welcome, we even left a couple of bottles of prosecco just to say thank you as it was an amazing experience ( as always ) . Thank you Bath Boutique Stays, we will be back again soon.

Fantastic Property and Team Event
We recently stayed at this fantastic property for a team meeting and event. Nothing was too much trouble and the Bath Boutiques Team who were excellent in assisting us with a private chef to cook lunch and organising crazy golf for us. The property itself if decorated to a high standard and is in a great location for exploring Bath. All the rooms are highly appointed and it has a wonderful feel and sense of style. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to anyone visiting Bath

Amazing space for a girls weekend!
We had an absolutely amazing stay at Mr Darcy’s Abode. The house has gorgeous decor and so much space for everyone making it a fabulous base for our girls weekend away! I would definitely recommend staying here with a large group. Communication from the team in the office was great from the very beginning! If you’re looking for a weekend away in Bath, stay here!!!!!

DO YOURSELF A FAVOUR, GO AND SEE THE PROPERTY BEFORE YOU BOOK
A large group of us stayed here for a weekend in the Summer. I can see why the property appeals as the marketing is very good. I do recommend that people go and see it before booking. It has a tired feel about it after so many hen and bachelor parties. It is a very old building and the indoor staircases lean precariously to one side. The building is situated on a very busy road and the entrance on the side is opposite a Chinese take-away. It is a taxi ride distance away from the town. The only sitting room/snug is in the dark basement, which may look nice on the photo, but could feel quite depressing. The table in the kitchen fills the entire kitchen, so it is very difficult to cook anything as you need to walk all the way to the top of the table and then all the way down to get to the fridge which is opposite the cooker or the dishwasher. On a hot night, it is difficult to open windows due to the road noise. Some of the windows are extremely old and difficult to open, some open onto a depressing looking neglected courtyard

Great place, good location, quirky decor & comfy beds
We stayed here for a University reunion and it was fantastic for our needs. The people in the office were so helpful and nothing was too much trouble. A comfortable walk into the city centre or £7 in a taxi. The rooms are all different - plenty of room and decorated to a high standard in a quirky style. My only reservation would be about the size of the kitchen which has a very large table in it so makes the kitchen difficult to work in if there are more of a few of you there. We only had breakfast there so wasn't really a problem but wouldn't be easy for big sit down meals together! A couple of the bathrooms are also very tiny but we nevertheless had a most enjoyable stay.
