Owner description: Following the multi-million-pound redevelopment during the Summer of 2016, Bath Racecourse has become one of the best small racecourses in the UK. Boasting stunning views across the Somerset countryside, Bath Racecourse offers a thrilling day out as well as exceptional hospitality and fine dining. There’s something for everyone with racing hosted throughout the summer from music evenings, Ladies Day and Family Fun Racedays. For something a bit different, The Roof Garden provides a striking setting to enjoy a glass of champagne and if you’re with the family, under 18s are free*.

Track was unfit for racing. They cancelled 3 of the 7 races at the last minute.
No consideration for horse wealthfare and some horses from the remaining races pulled out by owners/trainers, even the prize money for walking round was not deemed acceptable.
Management only interested in the entrance money and television money.
Jockeys, stable hands, trainers and owners all complained about the conditions.

We bought the roof garden tickets and pleased we did. It was covered with a good bar. Only one tote booth up there so we had to go down to the bookies to place a bet but it was good to keep moving. Food looked good too. Great day and a very good view from the roof top.

A day out at the races... Great fun! Great atmosphere, a great day or evening out and as long as you don't mind losing a few £s (I always seem to lose!) you will go home having had a great time (weather permitting as the weather is more brutal up there than almost anywhere else it seems... The Cider Night in August is an absolute must!

Great firework display and event. a great plus is plenty of hardstanding so you dont get too muddy. Well organised, right amount of fairground rides etc ( note rides are £4 each person/child ) a brilliant FREE circus area for little kids to ride cycles, use stilts etc , this was a great idea and gives parents wallets some respite from the expensive fairground rides.
Only issue was that the display was due to start at 7.30 and they announced they would be postponing until 7.45-8pm . This is unacceptable for the many hundreds of people who rushed to get there on time. This was particularly irritating for us as we choose this event above others for the early display time. Other than that a great well run family event.
