Nice hotel in great location.
The room was very nice but just too small.
The bathroom was also very nice but was also on the small side.
Breakfast was cooked to order and was excellent - one of the best I’ve ever had.
The staff were all very professional and the service was excellent.
I’d have scored 5 out of 5 if the room wasn’t so small.

Family visit to Bath for weekend and treated ourselves to what we thought would be a restful, luxury weekend instead we were placed in a ground floor room totally unsuited for use as a bedroom due to loud traffic noise, single glazed windows and constant revellers from nearby Labyrinth nightclub through to about 4am every night. On complaining with Management we received an apology but no gesture toward our bill of nearly £1200 for two connecting rooms for two nights. On pushing the point we were finally offered 5000 IHG points. This was our 1st experience at an IHG hotel and it will be our last. Stay elsewhere.

Hotel decor is lovely, staff are so nice and well presented and the place smells amazing! Beds comfy and rooms nicely decorated. Breakfast is lovely with a great variety! Id say the bar prices are overpriced but happy to pay as we were on holiday!

We had booked 3 rooms, 1 had no problems, the 2nd one had a problem with shower drainage (this was fixed after a quick call to reception) the 3rd one had an awful smell of damp and was freezing! I wish we had complained about this room as we paid a good amount to stay here!

Also, The coffee machine leaked in 2 of the rooms, so make sure if you have water left in the container you empty this!

Apart from that we really enjoyed our time at this hotel! Great location for the city of bath!

Beautiful hotel and room, a beautiful bathroom, great location with a paid public car park nearby. The staff here are really friendly and easy to talk to, and very helpful.

The bad part of our stay was our check-in was delayed beyond the hotel check-in time, and the mattress in our room was very uncomfortable and probably ready for a refresh, if it wasn't for this I would give it 5 stars.

Great staff, nice bar, quirky decoration (check out the mini chandeliers at reception), central location.
But room 609 was very small with only a tiny window in the corner (that had silly shutters that wouldn't stay partially open with the window open). There was a sloping wall next to the bathroom so I banged my head at night. As per my profile, it was in a quiet position away from the lift but then a couple arrived with a screaming kid! We also had a problem with the TV turning itself on so had to unplug it (sorted the next day).
No hotel parking a £15 a day in council car park (that is full at peak times).

Room tip: Avoid room 609
