The hotel is OK. Great staff, good breakfast, room facilities lovely. Distance from town is a big problem, it takes way over 30 minutes and we had to take a bus in the end. The hotel is very quiet at night time but we were a bit amused when we were given a room literally one step from the reception and breakfast areas so it was a bit noisy during regular hours. Then again we were out soon after breakfast.
The room and bathroom were clean and reasonably spacious. Good parking facilities. Great WiFi connectivity.

Thanks for taking the time to send in a review - and sorry you found that we were too far from the centre . . . if you don't fancy the walk (and the weather wasn't particularly conducive to a stroll, I know) you can get a £4 bus pass for the day which is good value and an easy ride. We hope you enjoyed your visit to Bath in spite of this and thank you once again.

Great welcome by friendly and helpful . Room a small double which would be a bit cramped for two but well equipped and very clean, warm and comfortable. Just 10 minutes by bus to Bath centre. Several buses pass along the road and stop almost outside the guest house so very .

Although we thought expensive it was clean . For the price we expected more. The room we stayed in was on the side of the house, it appeared to be a garage or out building converted into a room. It was fine , clean but a little dated.

Many thanks for sending in your comments after your visit. The price does reflect the fact that you were here over a weekend when prices are higher, but we are sorry that you found it expensive. We have made a note of your comments about the décor and thank you again for taking the trouble to write in.

Friend & I stayed here whilst we visited Bath & surrounding areas.

On arrival we were greeted by the lovely Anna. She was friendly & helpful when we wanted to know the bus routes into the city centre. There is a bus stop just outside but the park & ride is a 5 minute walk & about £5.50 return for two people, much cheaper than catching the normal bus into the city centre.

The room & bathroom were clean & comfortable with the usual tea/coffee/hot chocolate & biscuits.

Breakfast was lovely, from mine & my friends point of view there was enough selection for a vegetarian & a meat eater.
In the morning staff, for us it was usually Anna, always polite, friendly & always had a smile.

If you wanted something light for dinner in the evening, for a small price & if you let them know what you want off the menu by 6.30 they can arrange it for you.

Though the guest house was along the main road it was quite. There is parking available but if this gets full up I think you can park on the road.

To some this guest house's decoration & apearance may seem dated but it is all part of its charm.

Overall, if I was to visit Bath again then I would definitely come back here & have no hesitation in recommending it to others.
