Had two nights here with my husband en route to Cornwall - and thoroughly enjoyed it. The hosts are so friendly and obliging. Room was small but had everything you needed. Everything in the room was spotless. Bathroom had just a shower (no bath) which was all we needed. Again the bathroom was spotlessly clean.

The breakfast menu had choice and variety and was cooked to perfection. I cannot fault this place and would highly recommend it. We will have no hesitation to go back again.

First things first, the hosts were exceptional and could not do enough to satisfy every wish of the customer. The downside, they don't take credit or debit cards so its cheques (who carries them nowadays) or hard cash. I saw a notice mentioning this but was never told either when I booked or arrived. There is Wi-Fi in the Guest House but it has a 26 digit code (I kid you not!!) but as a back-up there is a computer in the dining area.

Rooms are comfortable but basic. Freeview TV in the room and tea and coffee making facilities and for once both skimmed and semi-skimmed milk in the rooms - thats a first for all the rooms and hotels I have stayed in Bath.

The ensuite facilities are sufficient but I would have liked the option of a bath and/or shower.

Breakfast is booked the evening before - something I don't like as I am prone to change my choice overnight, but the breakfasts are varied and satisfying.

Its an eleven minute walk to the station or 7 if you use the canal route which is prettier but take the road opposite the guest house and its pretty easy to find the route.

Would I book again - probably not if the Paradise Hotel is available, but would I recommend it, probably.

This guesthouse is exactly what you want from beautiful bath - friendly & very helpful owners, great rooms w own bathroom, free internet, and all you need for breakfast with a fantastic spread of homemade traditional english breakfast, cereals, toasts, fruit, yoghurt etc. They even bought special gluten free bread and sausages for my wife. Highly highly highly recommend Radnor house, a great price and there is even a gorgeous little black dog for those who miss there own dog and need some canine love!

Just got back from a 2 night stay at the Radnor guest house with my 19 year old daughter and her friend. I can´t fault this b and b in any way. It is situated just 10 minutes walk from the centre of Bath and the train station. The room was attractive, comfortable and spotlessly clean. There was a flat screen tv, a hairdrier and a selection of teas and coffee with a small kettle. In the bathroojm there were 3 towels each, one being a bath sheet. There was no lack of small details like the small bath gels and shampoo, and there was even a Marks and Spencers air freshener! Breakfast was fantastic with a very wide selection of things, even fresh fruit salad and the owner could not have been more helpful. The best b and b I have ever stayed at.
