Nice hotel in a prime location of Somerset with limited free parking, including undercover adjacent to the hotel.
Large rooms with a good firm bed, (like mine was), plump pillows, big TV, a kettle, my room also had a bath as well as a shower, lovely fluffy towels & good views across the hills.
Unfortunately I was kept awake all night with the noisy traffic, plus people talking with a running engine outside below my window, no fault of the hotel other than the windows need soundproofing, but down to its location by an Esso garage, a Subway, Domingo's pizza, a chip shop, plus a Tesco & B&Q across the road, noise is to be expected.
The staff are lovely here & there are extra beverages on the reception counter in case you need them.
As well as Glastonbury, this hotel is close to Wells, Street, Wookey hole, Cheddar Gorge & caves plus further afield places such as Wedmore, Burnham, Weston super mare plus so many more, overall a good visit.More
