Stayed with daughter and five-month-old baby for three nights - the room was huge, clean and comfortable. Good location, just a few minutes' walk from the town centre. Unfortunately the restaurant was closed during the evenings so needed to make alternative eating arrangements but Bury St Edmunds has masses of places to choose from so no great problem. Staff were very friendly and helpful, breakfast was OK, check-in easy, parking spaces available - overall a very good experience.
Arrived Friday of the beginning of half term and the resturant was closed.Breakfast next morning was run by a stand in chef and was unorganized .Satuday lunch closed.didnt bother about checking for evening meal as went elsewhere. However everything else about stay was vgood.position of hotel is excellent and only ten minutes walk to town.
Very good location, room is very comfortable and affordable price. Stayed here for 2 nights and had a pleasant stay.
Very easy check in and check out. Would recommend! Room was cleaned in a daily basis, very attentive staff!
Firstly, this hotel is the best apart of half a mile from the Town Centre, not as close as the booking sites would have you think. Whilst you always know what you are going to get in a Premier Inn, I found the whole ambience of this one rather depressing. I also found that after returning to the room in the afternoon, after being out all morning, the room had not been made up. For almost £200 for two nights, I think this establishment is way overpriced, which just goes to show there is a lack of hotel accommodation in Bury.
They all need to go back to Customer service training and definitely culinary school!!
Dont waste your time or money. Much better places for the same money
Even if you specify certain requests, chances are they won't happen
