Friendly staff in pub; sometimes it can be awkward as a same-sex couple when we turn up to book in a double room as owners still assume we’ll be a heterosexual couple...
Loved the Broadside room, decor lovely & the most comfortable, big bed ever!
Ate dinner in the pub. They’d run out of roast dinners & my first choice still advertised on the menu board (trout) was unavailable too, but the meal we did have was really good & the Adnams stout was a winner. Visited the Adnams shop up the road the next day & bought some to take home!
Pub is dog friendly & there were 3 of 4 in there the evening we were eating, inc a gorgeous collie pup who let us fuss her!
The veggie breakfast in the morning was good & included in the price as we’d booked through ‘Booking.com’ - although they had taken payment days before our stay, rather than us paying at the pub when we left, as it stated when we booked.
Plenty of free parking at the pub & we were able to leave our car there after we checked out, so we could wander into Woodbridge & explore for a few hours rather than having to move it to a car park in town.More
