This was our first visit to Newcastle and unfortunately I made the decision to visit this restaurant for dinner. I've never eaten chicken pakora that looks like chicken balls from a Chinese takeaway - do you know pakora batter is supposed to be made with gram flour? Obviously not. Served with a pot of neon yellow manufactured looking stodgy - no thanks. 3 lamb chops which must have come from specially grown dwarf lambs. Butter chicken with no hint of almonds and about half a dozen spoons of rice per portion - little wonder everyone else seemed to be dining on coupon deals. The worst Indian food I have ever had the misfortune to eat so very glad to be back in Glasgow home to the best curries!!!

We pop here from time to time often on Groupon. Place filled up a bit this time. Some changes to the menu price wise plus I could not find my favourite Podina Murgh.

Starters of chicken tikka chat and chicken tikka were very good. Also the chicken tikka korai was excellent. Rices and peshwari naan were standard stuff.

Owner and staff are always efficient and go out there way to open the door as you leave (which my wife likes).

Me and my partner did an impromptu visit here on 2 March. Very quiet due to bad weather. Service was lovely and friendly. Food was excellent. Will be back
