After organising babysitters we ventured into Stratford having booked a table at lambs. Good home cooked food, soup to start, duck and sea bass for mains and sorbet to finish. Kir royales, and a bottle of rose along with table water washed down what was really a nice meal. Some delightful young girls serving us all with a smile! So lovely to see which is why we go out of our way to be nice and polite to the staff when we go out. Gorgeous building too- ask to sit upstairs!

We had been recommended to go to Lambs and I must say the food and service was wonderful. We had the set meal and the value here was outstanding. The choice was varied and the quality was first class. Strongly recommend this restaurant on your next visit to Stratford upon Avon .

A lovely dinner with my wife. Good quality and choice.
A little expensive but it is Stratford.

You definitely need to book, many people turned away without bookings.

Great lunch at Lambs. Thoroughly enjoyed the salted cod scotch eggs plus the moules et frites. Good selection of wines plus local beers and ciders. A reasonable menu, but we only saw a very few dishes that we were interested in ordering - but what we chose was excellent.

We had King Prawns 'Pil Pil' and Carpaccio of beef to start. Both were spot on. The beef was melt in the mouth perfect and the prawns an execellent texture and just the right amount of chilli.

Both the service and decor in the restaurant was perfect. It was a very relaxing dining experience with impeccable service throughout.

We both opted for the Angus beef for main course with onion rings, salad and hand cut chips. With the exception of the chios everything was sublime, the beef exquisitely flavoured and the texture of heaven, onion rings the best (according to number one son) ever tasted. The salad was a fabtasically balance of radicchio, rocket, cherry tomatoes, and salad with a light dressing. All of these were exceptional. Unfortunately the hand cut chips were good, but more homemade by mum than in the same league as the rest of the meal. But it was the only fly in an otherwise perfect soup.
