Really nice pub with a restaurant this place. Choosing was a no brainier, three full English with coffees and a coke. The food was excellent, well cooked and tasty, the sausages were the star.
Can't ask for more really great food, good service but maybe a little expensive at over £40 ish for the three of us.

Have been for a couple of Sunday roasts in October in the Rose as the first one was so good!

Whilst not cheap the quality is there, and portion size. The staff bring round extra veg, gravy and rosaries for those that are really hungry!

Last time we went there was a group of 15 for a family birthday lunch and they were happy to accommodate our own birthday cake.

Worth a visit

Warm welcome on arrival and the excellent service continued throughout our stay. Staff were so friendly. Layout and design of pub/restaurant pretty good. Room spacious but with slightly awkward bathroom (not that much of a criticism in an historic building, though a walk-in shower would be better that cramming a bath in). Major drawback was terrible lighting in the room. Insufficiently bright most of the time and with no real options to adjust according to preference and terrible green safety light over the bed severely restricting sleep. Apart from that would have ranked it higher but they should get that right.

Rose and crown Warwick, warm friendly, food amazing, very popular always a good sign, in on Sunday 29 th Oct, very very busy only had a drink, suss the place out. Came in Monday 30th October had lovely food, definitely recommended the food. Only downside was the price of a pernod and lemonade 6.75 only ever paid 3.75 you can buy a bottle for 18 pound, but, you can't knock the food.

The interior of the Rose and Crown is pleasant enough, staff seemingly friendly. However, we wanted a light lunch and asked for a Caesar salad from the lunchtime starter menu. The salad arrived, very small with about six small lettuce leaves, 3 anchovies, horrible overly hard bits of bacon and a few croutons tossed in. There was no evidence of a salad dressing. I had to ask for some. A tiny little pot was presented for 3 of us to share. The salad was edible. My friend went to pay the bill and we were charged £13.50 each for the salad. When she asked why it had cost this much, she was told we should have ordered the 2 course lunchtime menu as it would have been cheaper to do it this way. Staff had not suggested this to us pre order. We paid £40.50 for 3 basically lettuce leaf salads, which felt a real rip off. Not good, so will not be going back to the Rose and Crown.
