I’d been recommended this place by a few people, a few of whom were new to trying different kinds indian food. The nice thing about this place is that you just seat yourself down as long as there is seating available. When you’re ready just order at the bar stating your table number which you’ll find written on your table. The even nicer thing about this place (let alone the food) is the attentiveness from the waitresses, as the service is fast paced and spot on! Moving on to the food, i had the Golgappe, Chana Chaat for starters and The Tiffin as a main. This is a good dish, it can be classed as a taster dish as if you’re not too sure what to order, you get to choose 5 types of food, which also includes two types of poppadoms, rice, roti, raita and sour mango (considered very to indian chutnet). If you like your chai latte’s, then i highly recommend the masala chai. All in all, I came here alone, next time i’m bringing my father who was born in Gujarat, India. Something tells me, this place will remind him of home.

The food is here is really good, although its abit of a walk from the centre of town its worth the walk. You will have earned it when you get there!
Service can be slow at times, as the kitchen is small so if its busy be prepared for abit of a wait. You wont mind though, with all the different beers available.

Visited upon recommendation in a group of 4 for a couple of drinks and a mixed grill.

Large seating areas inside, with a bar which has plenty of ales. Then there is canned craft beers and a selection of spirits.

Ordered 2 mixed grills between 4 of us with masala fries, chilli naan and cheese naan.

All the meats were excellent, lamb, chicken, fish were cooked to perfection.

Would 100% go back and try the rest of the dishes, the staff were great also

Amazing food on offer , do not miss the mixed grill to share , the beer is pretty good as well . Don’t believe the Birmingham Mail review that it is cold and uncomfortable inside c all the heating was working and it was warm and toasty when we visited with minus 3 degrees outside at lunchtime , we will be back again to sample some other party of the menu and the wide variety of beers .

Great family run business with microbrewery on site, they have recently expanded to give more seating especially on evenings after work it gets very busy! Beers here are really good honey based one a particular favourite, staff super helpful and friendly. For food we had masala fish, poppadoms filled with yoghurt and spicy relish (both amazing), chicken tikka wrap and chicken thigh with a spicy green relish on (also really good), flavours were excellent, food fresh, beer is good my only negative is price of wine relatively high so I’d stick to the beer! Overall would recommend and return, location is perfect as it’s just outside the rear entrance to snow hill station!
