“Christmas Markets 2017”
Review of Millennium Square

Millennium Square
Reviewed 24 November 2017 via mobile

Visited here with a group of friends. Overall, very enjoyable.
The square was busy.
Lots of chalets with your typical European crafts. There are some nice confectionary choices too.
Plenty of places to grab some hot mulled wine or honey mead and of course beer. A few good stalls too.
Nice atmosphere and not too pricy. Doesn't beat going to the ones in Germany or Eastern Europe but none the less a nice time out.

Millennium Square is currently hosting Leeds Christmas Markets. Overall it is quite a small space so there is limited stalls/rides. Good for a sausage & mulled wine, but gets very busy

Really disappointing all stalls same old tat , if you want a sausage and a beer fine but why doesn’t leeds council do a leeds xmas market with Leeds vendors then putting jobs and money back into our city.
Talking of beer we had one in the main bar that had showsec staff on and one of the bar staff mega rude and it’s great to see door staff not letting people back in after they have been to the toilets ( keep up the good work door staff of Leeds )
The Thor bar though was ok

We came today from hull on train to see this german christmas market, and what a very disapointed market, too many stalls selling the same stuff and why was it called a german market, there was no cakes or breads or a butcher selling german stuff, yes there was german hot dog which didnt look very tasty and overpriced mulled wine 4.50.very disapointed why sell the same stuff on each stall dont understand that.
