The restaurant overlooks the market place and is within easy walking distance from the Salisbury Playhouse and Salisbury Cathedral. Strada Salisbury is a part of the well-known group of contemporary Italian restaurants located on the high street serving good quality, simple, freshly prepared dishes using the finest seasonal produce available. The menus offer hand stretched pizzas, fresh pastas and risotto, as well as grilled meat and fish dishes.

If you have never been to Strada and loathe chain restaurants then it's a pleasant surprise. The food is of a reasonable quality and is served quickly, they maintain a good standard of food. The service is good and they are happy to adjust to individual requirements and are generally very helpful. The portions are reasonably generous without being overwhelming! Central location close to the central car park and the city centre is useful and the menu is varied enough to cater for most companions, young or old!

Really enjoyed our visit here, used our Tastecard which made already good value excellent value. Despite being very busy the service was first class and the food excellent. Like so many chains I wish the wine list was more imaginative but that is me being picky (again). Great evening, great food

First visit to a Strada restaurant............and this one located in the town center near the middle of the road..........as was the food.
Quite a limited menu choice........but the Beef Puccia Burger, with fries, was really excellent....but why they need to charge £17.95 for a bottle of very standard Soave wine is worrying!
Fairly busy and the staff were friendly and helpful.....and they DO take Tesco Clubcard Vouchers (4x Value), which eased the pain somewhat!

We were celebrating our anniversary and chose Strada for our celebratory meal. The starter was very nice and also the main course of lamb shank served on a bed of lovely buttery mash.....the side salad of tomato onion was a bit sad....literally one tomato sliced and one thins slice of red onion, chopped over the top....more if a garnish on its own plate at an extortionate price. The main course was delicious and we did have a certain supermarket's meal deal token so it was not all bad. It was really quiet and the staff were tripping over each other as there was little to do.

We visited early evening and asked for a table for 3. There was lots of space in the restaurant with many tables free and despite asking to sit at a quiet table, we were shown to a table right in the middle of the restaurant. We asked to sit in a quieter spot at the side but received a mumbled explanation about how they (the staff) wanted to make it (the restaurant, presumably) look better so we would have to sit in the middle. We remained standing as the waitress promptly disappeared - we assumed she'd gone check if we could sit where we wanted - but after waiting for what seemed like an age, she didn't return! We walked out, passing her and other staff standing around by the till chatting. We only went there as we had a discount voucher emailed to us - in fact, we're bombarded with offers from Strada. Now I can see why the online arm has to try so hard - pity the staff in the restaurant aren't a little more communicative and accommodating. We enjoyed a great meal just down the road in Salisbury at Pizza Express where the food was good and the staff were friendly.
