We used to go here quite regularly but this was our first visit for 12 months or so. New menu looked good and garlic bread arrived quickly and hot. However, we waited about 40-45 minutes for our mains after waitress admitted that she hadn't put two of our orders through the till. When our orders did arrive the 'meatballs in a focaccia' looked and tasted as though they had been waiting around for the two pasta dishes to be made. So dry and chewy that even our 11 year old was unimpressed! Pasta dishes were supposed to be very spicy with chilli etc but was as bland as could be. Mixed salad should be reported to trade descriptions as I think I was able to locate just a couple of cherry tomatoes sliced in half to decorate some very sad looking shredded lettuce and strands of onion. We were asked how we found the food so we said it was remarkably average and we were given a very generous discount. To be honest that is the only positive thing I have to say about our meal.......aside from the garlic bread.
