Beautifully placed overlooking the Thames, staff were attentive and food was good. Slightly pricey but food was worth it. Inside and outside dining, really relaxed evening - great.

Thank you for your kind review, so pleased you enjoyed your visit and we hope to welcome you back. On a personal note it was lovely to see another visitor to the British Services cemeteries abroad - We will remember them!

fish & chips not cheap at £12.95. Very ordinary......no tartar source, waiter apologised that none available
gourmet burger £13.95.......very dry patty only with a smattering of lettuce and chips. Asked for cheese......an extra £1 charge for a very thin slice of cheese

Arrived at the waited to be seated, first impressions was a waitress running past and told after a huff of breath someone else will help us. Stood around and another lady came to help and seated us. She advised she would be back with menus. 15 mins passed with no one coming back and others around us seated and served for us to only be blatantly ignored when trying to get other servers attentions.
We subsequently got up to leave, I asked the Bar man to speak to the manager and explained we were leavening as no one had been to help and said lady that seated us all of a sudden came out the kitchen with a mouthful of food and trying to apologise. The rule of First impressions last is always key, and based on this I definitely won’t be back nor suggest it.

Dear Movern, your treatment, for which we apologise, was completely unacceptable. I will contact you by private message in the hope that you can provide us with some details (time etc) so that we can investigate and deal appropriately with the member of staff who failed both you and us.

Went for Fathers Day lunch as my daughter had been a couple of times before and was always impressed. Had a great roast meal, with great service and a lovely view of the Thames.

We will certainly be back.
