While in the Cotswolds our B&B host suggested Tattersalls for our anniversary dinner. She also made a reservation for us. With soft music in the background we enjoyed a nice Pinot noir from their extensive wine list. My wife's lamb was prepared perfectly, as was my sirloin steak. For dessert we enjoyed the equivalent of a hot lava cake with caramel ice cream. In addition, the restaurant delivered a plate with pieces of various fudge with the words "Happy Anniversary" written in chocolate.

Throughout our meal service was very attentive, relaxed and professional. We left the restaurant feeling that we had just enjoyed a fine dining experience.

I can recommend Tattersalls (in the Broadway Hotel) without reservation.

We had reserved a table a few days ahead. We had dinner on a nice table for two overlooking the restaurant.I had fish which had a nice sauce and my partner had the lam which was excellent.

Chose from the light bite lunch menu and enjoyed 3 courses for £16.95.
Food was well presented, cooked and served, the only downside being a not generous supply of tea and coffee to finish with.
On the positive side the bar had an excellent range of local beers.

Our party contained Coeliacs, dairy free guests etc. and the lunch menu satisfied all in terms of creativity and flavours. We even had a starter with roasted water melon! Loved the risotto, steak, etc. Kids menu portions are small, so healthy kid eaters might need to order some sides as well.

We sat beautifully in the garden out back, enjoying the garden flowers and beautiful weather.

Service was good.
Value is good on the lunch menu.

The back garden is much better than you would ever expect from seeing just the front of the hotel/pub.

The only thing to avoid is the "fresh orange juice" and apple juice as they're fresh from the carton, and not particularly good.

Every time we have eaten in the restaurant the food has been excellent and exceeded our expectations.
The service is warm and the lovely Welsh lady makes us feel very welcome.
The dishes are always well thought out and demonstrate intricacy and skill that make the meal feel very special.
The cocktail offering is pretty good and there is usually something new and interesting behind the well stocked bar whatever your chosen drink might happen to be.
The venue is perfect for a range of occasions and is a good example of a Cotswold restaurant in a lovely location.
