We took our brother and sister-in-law to L'amuse Bouche on Friday evening.
From entering the lovely building to leaving the staff were very attentive and friendly. We had pre dinner drinks in the comfortable lounge, returning there for coffee after the meal.
The menu was varied and we had no difficulty choosing, the food was excellent and veg cooked perfectly.
A lovely evening in an elegant setting.

If only there were more restaurants like this! Our dinner here was the conclusion of a weekend away to celebrate my wife's birthday and, in every respect, our experience at L'amuse Bouche could not have been bettered. Everything about this restaurant seems to have been carefully thought through so that from arrival to departure each stage progresses seamlessly to the next in a calm, friendly and relaxing atmosphere. The food is of excellent quality and beautifully presented, with interesting flavour and texture combinations, and a few surprises along the way too. Thoroughly recommended ... we won't wait for another special celebration but return at the first opportunity.

The menu choice was creative and gave me a real choice of what I wanted, not just what I could have. The disappointing thing was not eating more of the bread rolls... I had two and could have eaten more - but best not to... I didn't want to spoil the main food. The beef was amazing....

Fantastic welcoming staff who really put you at ease, greeted by Hector the unintrusive Airedale (who loves the petit fours!) Beautiful gothic building, clean and decorated to a high standard. We visited for dinner, absolutely superb. Staff are attentive without being in the way, polite, knowledgeable about the food. The Gin and Tonic menu was the most difficult decision of the day! Wish we had stayed here over night. One of the best meals we've ever had. Everything tasted so vibrant and fresh and smelt devine. Thank you for a wonderful evening - we will return!
