We were in Holyhead for a few days only one coincided with this restaurant being open .
It is hard to fault , food cooked fresh in full view , staff attentive and helpful , prices very reasonable , worth going to Holyhead for .

Really nice spot for having lunch with very welcoming staff. Have been here twice now in past 5 months and the food has been excellent. Great prices to. Haven’t been for dinner yet.
A bit difficult to find as behind the museum not much parking. Nice cosy atmosphere inside looking out into Holyhead harbour.

We arrived about 20 mins before they stop serving lunch so we was worried we wouldn't get served but they invited us in no problem. A nice filling lunch. The view from window was nice from what we could see. (Customers already sat there.) it would be great sat outside if the weather was warm.

This is our second visit in around 3 years. Both visits on blustery cold days. The Bistro isn't obvious as it's behind the Maritime Museum but it's worth finding.

Last time we chose the dressed crab and ate out on terrace. It's a beautiful view and the meal was lovely hence today's return visit.

This time choosing Crispy skin chicken with mash, mushroom sauce and a medley of cooked veg. The food was fabulously cooked and delicious to eat with great presentation. Absolutely loved it.

Sitting indoors its not big but it's bright and open with large glass panels with harbour views. Staff are friendly and attentive and everything is clean.

Charming bistro overlooking Holyhead harbour.
I have been there a number of times but won't visit again.
I thought that the food was mediocre and not particularly good value.
But I'm guessing that depends on what you choose and how busy it is.
I had an open prawn sandwich which lacked style and taste.
My wife had vegetable soup which also failed to excite the taste buds.
Beer was £4 a pint which is fairly expensive for this area.
