rooms was very clean and shower was amazing. Was quiet, comfortable. Room was a decent size. Tea and coffee brilliant. Only downside was TV which kept crashing while trying switch channels. But otherwise spot on thank you

As a budget hotel there is nothing to fault. Free parking for the two days either side of our 1 night stay, great location and amazing staff. Kim in particular was great with the kids. Recommended a few things, moved our room so we weren’t overlooking the casino as she said it might be noisy and asked how my son was the following morning as he had an ear infection!
The breakfast staff were friendly and again food fine for the price. It’s a travelodge afterall!

As this is a central location it was very busy, breakfast was a scramble for a table and the buffet did not keep up to demand. Great staff very helpful. had an issue with the room air con and received a discount They need more staff in all areas when there is a main event on

Minuses - Cramped for 2 people. Toilet seat loose, extractor fan broken - nothing done after complaining. We had to ask to get sufficient towels.

Pluses - clean, good heating, good breakfast, good WiFi, great location.

This hotel is literally thirty seconds from Cardiff Bay station, and a two minute walk from the Bay itself. It has everything you need right on the doorstep! From the moment we walked in we were greeted by the lovely Luke, who regularly chatted to us during our first night, and was incredibly helpful and friendly.
The hotel itself was nice and clean; basic amenities for the money, but we expected nothing less. There was next to no noise at all in the hotel either. From our room on the top floor we didn't have brilliant views, but we were only really in the hotel for sleeping!
The main downside is the bar and restaurant; very limited drink options and the food didn't look appetising for the prices, but that's hardly an issue with so many other options close by! Unlimited breakfast was of a good standard, but we'd have preferred decent coffee! Would definitely return again though; hopefully when it's not raining the entire time!
