Stayed here for 2 nights to visit family and friends. We have tried several hotels in the area but this is the best and we will definitely be returning. All the staff were perfect and nothing was too much trouble. The room was good with a view down to Cardiff Bay, and the breakfast excellent. Plenty of free parking and free wifi. Highly recommend this hotel.

We stayed at the New House for a family event. I have to say the following about the whole experience:
1 The room (room 14) was fantastic. It had a 4 poster bed and a balcony looking out over Cardiff
2 The staff were fantastic. Every one of them was really friendly and couldn’t do enough for us. Without exception. They are a credit to the business.
3 The food was fantastic. Simple sandwiches were of a high quality and extremely tasty
4 The Wyndham Suite really served our purpose and the terrace outside had wonderful views whilst at the same time giving us privacy.
5 The night porter Gerrard deserves a special mention. He went above and beyond the call of duty that deserves recognition.
Thanks to all at the New House hotel. We will definitely stay there again.
Lot's of use of the word fantastic but that is how it was.
We stayed at the New House in June this year and once again had a very enjoyable time.
The afternoon tea is fantastic sat outside in the sun enjoying the views across Cardiff and the bay.
We would definitely recommend for you to visit soon
Stayed here on our wedding anniversary. Everything was amazing again with staff, food, atmosphere and stay.
I would suggest removing the heaters in the glass conservatory if they don’t work.

The only downside was two single beds, but still a lovely place to spend time together, nice and quiet.
Fantastic stay at New House. The staff were amazing, so accommodating. The food was brilliant therefore we ate two nights in a row in the hotel. The decor in the room was a little outdated but the rest of the hotel made up for it. The new outdoor space is amazing with great views. We loved having breakfast and dinner outdoors. Would highly recommend.
