Great stay at the Future inn in Cardiff.
The restaurant was absolutely delicious!
The hotel could do with a little updating in places but the everything was clean and tidy and the staff were friendly. Very good value for money!

The staff are really friendly and check in / out is quick.
The rooms are clean and beds comfy. Did find ours a bit warm even with window open.
The bay is only a 5min walk away so great location for a night out.

For the price of the room the hotel is quite poor. The AC only goes down to 19 degrees which made it warmer than outside and the window didn't open. Didnt have a great time getting ready to go out, awful sleep when we got back and felt glad to get out in the morning. For something called the future Inn, very dated. No USB sockets in the rooms, no Sky TV so don't expect to watch The Lions games for example. Breakfast wasn't included so we didn't opt for it on check in. It is clean and covid safe however if this is your only priority.

A comfortable stay. Room was clean and well equipped with decent WiFi. Ample parking available and the location was excellent within 5 minutes walking distance of Cardiff Bay. The breakfast was decent with the option of a cooked breakfast which, unsurprisingly given covid, was table service rather than a buffet. Will stay again next time we are in Cardiff.

Not what we were expecting at all! The room’s AC was clearly inadequate, making our room on the top floor like a sauna, when we asked about the availability of a fan, we were told, they don’t keep any fans but we were offered sheets instead of a duvet, that didn’t help the buckets of sweat from pouring down me as I tried to get ready for an evening out. When speaking with other guests, they also said the AC was the same in their rooms also. Furthermore, the walls were grubby as were the bed sheets as shown in the photos. For the price paid, I have honestly stayed in far better low cost/budget accommodation. We will definitely not be returning!

Short walk to lots of eateries, restaurant onsite. 10 mins to Bay Area, 25 min walk to Cardiff centre. Room was great, large double plus sofa, facilities good too. Very clean. Complimentary tea/coffee and bottled water in the room. washroom shower gel and shampoo sachets, which came in handy. Staff friendly and helpful. Free parking which is fab for a city break.
