Came on a Friday night in July - around half-full. Staff could not have been more polite and helpful. Restaurant was spotlessly clean.

There was an expansive menu with a very generous vegetarian section. Brought piping hot, the food was delicious - the restaurant claims to be 'healthy' Indian food and certainly none of the curries seemed as it as things you often taste. Highly recommended.

Had an evening meal yesterday at the curry on the curve.
There was a new menu with the old favourites plus a few new additions.
Being vegetarians we had chilli paneer and masala mushroom for starters .They were absolutely delicious and I can't wait to have them again in a few days time. We also had our favourites- bindhi masala and gobi aloo with steamed rice and buttered nans.
Once again we cannot speak highly enough of this authentic Indian cafe at our doorstop. Chef Anil and his staff are excellent hosts. If you are looking for healthy home cooked Indian cuisine, you don't have to look further than Curry on the Curve.

Four of us, Newport folk, two of us not frequent Indian food eaters. It's an almost minimalist room but the word is that the food here is excellent and it seems to be so...... we shared papadums and starters before, without consulting, having four different main courses... the hotness indicator on the menus was helpful and we all picked well. Odd to see elsewhere on these pages someone thinking it expensive..... we ate handsomely and had drinks too and paid £20 and a tad each. I'm sure we'll be back.

Staying in the Lodge at Celtic Manor and decided we needed a curry. Location is pretty isolated so had to check they would deliver. No problem with the friendly and helpful lady on the phone.
Food delivered in well under an hour and all choices delicious. Top marks all round

High hopes as a curry fanatic as recommended by some friends as the most authentic Indian food in the area and definitely not disappointed. The chutneys and sauces accompanying the popadoms were full of flavour. Shared starters of onion bhaji's and vegetable samosa's. Quite simply the best I have ever tasted. Main mean the rice was superbly cooked and melted as you ate, the chicken chettinad full spices and certainly carried a kick worthy of its rating. Cannot wait to return to try other dishes on the menu.Definitely the best curry house I have visited for a long, long time and I have visited many in my time.
