If you like fish and chips, this is the seafood restaurant to go to. It was near the end of a long trip through Europe and we just wanted a simple fish and chip dinner. Deane's served us Haddock and chips and it was amazing. Terrific staff, prompt service, good beer and the best fish and chips.

Highly recommended!

Smart modern restaurant, tables close together, busy and as it was Saturday noisy
Staff attentive, friendly and efficient although slow at start(9:00pm). Although having a member of staff sit down to chat to the couple next to us in a tight space was discourteous, fine for a minute but was on my wife's shoulder the whole of our starter. Menu limited for a fish restaurant though what arrived was well presented and tasty. Desert menu poor with only 3 choices. Shame overall as looking forward to the experience

Dropped in for late lunch and was met by very welcoming staff. The venue is bright and not unsurprisingly sea themed. All makes for a pleasant atmosphere. At lunch time they do an additional £6.50 lunch menu of about 7 items. Had the chowder and smoked salmon from this menu plus 6 oysters from the main menu. Chowder was excellent and smoked salmon was.....smoked salmon. Oysters were a little milky but I guess that due to the time of year. Had a bottle of the pecorino which went really well with the fish/oysters. Overall, I like the place and will return if I'm ever in Belfast again.

Invisibile to the untrained eye looking onto the floor of Deans Love Fish, is the door that takes you into Deans Eipic where you are greeted by a shadowy corner of a what seems to be a mahogany rich bar with cocktails and spirits menu. Felt comfortable from the get go.

Service was top class. The wine pairing was very good and the combination of both was memorable. Something that should of been memorable was the guinea fowl that was cooked to absolute perfection, but was bland! No seasoning! My partner, theweebuns, had requested not to have fish dishes, about a month before hand. On the night, the fish dish was Turbot, while theweebuns had a very modest tomato salad! A bit of a anticlimax. But, the lamb was THE best meat I have ever tasted. Just ... Perfection. The desserts were full of flavours, very tasty!!

Overall: Food was cooked to perfection with sears to die for and graceful delicate craftsmanship throughout, but, never thought id say in a place of this calibre, a good majority lacked seasoning just. and thats all.

Tried to book a table a few moments ago (9.30pm on Friday, 25th July) for a special occasion. The male who answered the phone immediately corrected my pronunciation of the name of the restaurant. I was quite taken aback at his approach and manner and at his entire attitude. For a Michelin Star Restaurant, in which I have dined many times, I never expected such a rude and condescending attitude. Sorry to report this but given past experiences with an excellent staff I think this person has done a terrible disservice to you all.
