Been before, generally a good bet. On in the group ordered braised beef, which they were looking forward to. When it came it was clearly just thin cut roat beef, nothing braised about it at all. We complained to the waiter who simply affirmed that it was braised beef. Disappointing, but short of ruining the meal for everyone, what do you do?
Everyone else's meal was lovely.

The food at barreta bar and grill is expensive but nice. Breakfast, there is a selection of cereals fruits and cheeses to choose from, as well as a small selection of cooked breakfasts.
Staff are friendly too and children can be satisfied with colouring set.
Well recommended.

We chose the restaurant and bar for our large family reunion. It was booked well ahead so I was disappointed to be seated next to the swinging door of the kitchen.
The bar area feels bright and welcoming but the restaurant area is gloomy with no natural light and was very dark at breakfast time.
Our evening meal was well presented and I chose the prawn cocktail followed by seafood risotto.
I enjoyed both dishes although the risotto was a bit sloppy for me.
The staff were attentive and friendly.
