Very nice staff and a wide range of recent history on display. We loved the beach train with the cine footage of it in use in the 60s.

This is not to be missed and excellent insight to early life and the fishing industry which was the main source of employment for many years.

This small museum is packed full of all sorts of information about the history of Fraserburgh and the region. Many displays include activities for children and adults alike. New information and exhibits are always being added so even if you've been there before it's worth a return visit. A great resource for the community and visitors to this part of Scotland as well. The adjoining Lighthouse museum and restaurant are added attractions.

A family trip with my children aged 8 and 6 who loved how hands on it was. In the words of my daughter "the best museum I've ever been to because we could touch everything". They especially liked dressing up as fisherfolk and sorting the herring. Would definately recommend.

This is a well thought out museum with a very helpful layout plan and audio tour (if desired). There's something for all ages. Especially interesting was the Broadsea Display created by the local High School. And if you want more - nip across to the Lighthouse Museum.
