Like the last time I came, I was greeted by a warm welcome and a pleasant receptionist. I was in a room that had a view of the parking . Unfortunately I was not able to grab a room with a sea view. Swimming pool is open and it was an amazing swim and a steam room .I can only say Thank you .Wonderful vacation, wonderful staff .I will definitely be back.

Thank you

Room tip: sea view off course /

We booked a suite to celebrate a special anniversary. Our suite was on the ground floor with glass front. It was a very hot spell and no attempt had been made to make the room habitable, the temperature in the room was unbearable. We asked at desk and a very small fan heater was put in the room which made no impact at all! The service at dinner was chaotic and the food was not to the standard expected. Hotel is greatly under staffed! When checking in we were asked to book a time for breakfast and when we came for breakfast there were at least 20 people waiting to gain entry to the dining room and no movement for 15 mins, people were also standing at the breakfast buffet with empty plates in hand awaiting food being brought out from kitchen. We left without breakfast! We have emailed twice to air our grievances but not surprisingly, no response! This was a costly visit to a shambolic hotel!

Disappointed with the room allocation, which was round the back of hotel this building resembles a butlins 1960 holiday camp,on entry a new carpet was evident but the furnishings where minus handles shower temperamental in the morning,no phone in room, pillows lumpy, front door would not close properly staff friendly enough not enough car parking, breakfast adequate not real value for money paid.

Check in wasn't very good as receptionist couldn't find our booking, apparently my husbands name was put around wrong way!!!! We were even asked if we were at the correct hotel...... No information was given to us we didn't even know how to get to our room. A piece of paper was handed to us about pool and dining room.

Carpark is diabolical, no room at front or at back carpark. Cars were parking all over the place including the grass!!..

The bar, well what can I say. The barman had no idea whatsoever. I asked for a double baileys and was asked if that was 100ml, how do I know.... I'm not a bar person!! Alot of people had problems while ordering.

The dining room., we were in there for 2 hours... It wasn't busy. We ordered drinks and waited 20 minutes for them... Starters arrived which were a joke... A tiny square of toast with a huge piece of pate and a scrimpy piece of smoked salmon with the same amount of toast. The mains were typical pub grub, we ordered risotto... It turned up 30 minutes later and was a bowl of mush absolutely awful. Another long wait for desserts which we wish we hadn't bothered with.... Didn't eat in there the 2nd night.

The best thing was the location and the pool. You had to book a time at reception to use the pool as only 10 people are allowed in at a time. Tbh 10 people would've been crowded as pool is small. Towels are provided and lockers are not in use. They need a clock in there so you know how long you've been in there.

The rooms are OK we didn't have a seaview we were on ground floor overlooking the loading bay. Some blinds or curtains should be up at the bathroom window as although it's frosted you can see people walking past and also the lights shine through which can be seen from the bedroom. Beds and pillows were very comfy but we got a ricked neck watching TV in bed as its on the desk, it should be on a bracket on the wall.

Room tip: Don't bother phoning nobody answers.
