We are just back from an overnight stay at GG's yard sea view snugs and we stayed in "the nest". Could not fault this place at all, the snugs are fully equipped with everything you could possibly need and decorated to a very high standard. Our snug was the honeymoon snug so we had a hot tub and a few added extras, Although its a bit dearer for "the nest" I would defiantly recommend booking this snug as the added extras make it worth while! We had an amazing time and will most defiantly be back!

My review is for the Snugs that are available to stay in within GG's Yard at Laggan Outdoors. I booked on the recommendation of a colleague I work with.
From start to finish the experience was great, its easy enough to find and you are emailed over a map of where your snug is located (this is because we were arriving an hour after the check in time of 4pm).
The Snug overlooked the sea which was amazing to wake up to in the morning. The snug itself is spotless, you have your own little entrance with hallway, then your room with bed and seating as well as your ensuite shower - all spotless.
We went to the café for Steak night on our Saturday stay - the steak was lovely. My only tiny flaw would be that we came away smelling of cooking as the kitchen is all apart of the restaurant. The staff were lovely and it was reasonably priced.
We checked out in the morning. and the staff were so friendly and made sure we had enjoyed our experience. for £90 to stay in a snug is an absolute bargain and I will definitely be back again. I think I may pay the extra to stay in the Snug with the hot tub next time though ;-) !
I would have liked a little more lightening to guide you from your Snug up to the café in the dark but its amazing none the less. Thank you 5*

Stayed for 2 nights in The Dock Snug. From the minute we arrived until we left, everything was just perfect.
We ate at Basecamp Cafe where staff, food and location could not be faulted. Steak night on Saturday was delicious!
Out Snug was warm, spotlessly clean and had everything in it you need for a relaxing and peaceful break. Within the Snug there is a mini fridge, kettle, tea & coffee supplies, a hairdryer and tv. The ticking clock on the wall was annoying but that can removed :-)
Wifi was great and most importantly, the view was out of this world! We had all kinds of weather so the changing scenery was amazing! Our Snug was the only one with a hot tub which was brill! It's a few feet away from door of Snug so you do need flipflops to go to & from. I would also suggest you bring more towels but im sure they would be provided if asked for.
There's loads to do here and the activities looked great fun. We visited nearby Kirkcudbright, Gatehouse of Fleet and Castle Douglas - all had lovely wee shops and loads of places to eat.
I would most definitely recommend a visit here asap! We'll be back soon xx

The solway Coast was spectacular; the Laggan Outdoor activity centre a fantastic place to explore with lots on offer; the Basecamp Cafe food was delicious & our sea view snug.... amazing!! Built to such a high standard, we had such a relaxing stay and would encourage everyone to come stay here.
